Handling and Care

This original painting was made with "chinese-inks" on fine and delicated rice paper. The owner must keep in mind the fragility of the paper, handling it carefully and keeping it protected by applying a frame with a glass or acrilic layer or any other suitable type of protection.

As many other materials, paper can present dimensional variations depending on the relative humidity of the air in the room where it is located. Thus, it is normal paper to present slight distension during days of higher humidity and, on the opposite, on drier days (low humidity relative to the air) to presents a slight contraction. 

IMPORTANT: paintings on rice paper must be kept in environments with relative humidity of air less than 70%.

Assim sendo, o proprietário desta pintura deverá ter em mente a fragilidade do papel, manuseando-a com cuidado e mantendo-a devidamente protegida, utilizando uma moldura com frente de vidro ou acrílico ou qualquer outro tipo de proteção adequado.

Tal como muitos outros materiais, o papel pode apresentar variações dimensionais consoante a humidade relativa do ar do ambiente onde se encontra. Assim, será normal que o papel apresente uma ligeira distensão em dias de maior humidade e, pelo contrário, em dias mais secos (baixa humidade relativa do ar) apresente uma ligeira contração.

IMPORTANTE: as pinturas em papel de arroz devem ser mantidas em ambientes com humidade relativa do ar inferior a 70%.
