Handling and Care
This original painting was painted with "Chinese inks" on fine and delicated rice paper. Therefore the owner must keep in mind the fragility of the paper, handling it carefully and keeping it protected by applying a glazed (or acrilic) frame or any other suitable type of protection.
As many other materials, paper can present dimensional variations depending on the relative humidity of the air in the room where it is located. Thus, it is normal paper to present slight distension during days of higher humidity and, on the opposite, on drier days (low humidity relative to the air) to presents a slight contraction.
IMPORTANT: paintings on rice paper must be kept in environments with relative humidity of air less than 70%.
